1:1 strength, nutrition, and habit coaching for women who are done guessing, done starting over, and ready to actually understand what works for their body and their life, not someone else's.

A plan tells you exactly what to do.
It works great until life stops cooperating. Then it has nothing left to say.
Coaching teaches you how to strategize and adapt.
What to do when the week falls apart, when progress stalls, when the plan stops fitting.
Plans are everywhere. Strategy is what's been missing.
That's what a coach is actually for. Not to hand you another plan, but to teach you how to strategize, so any plan can bend around your real life.

MEET Coach SHELLY
NBC-HWC · Certified Personal Trainer · Human Movement Specialist · 8+ Years Coaching Women
I didn't get diagnosed with ADHD until I was 40.
Which means I spent decades trying to run my life on systems built for a brain I don't have, and blaming myself every time they collapsed. Sound familiar? Every "just be more consistent" I'd ever been told was a plan. What I actually needed was a strategy.

So I figured it out my own way.
Slowly, imperfectly, through a lot of trial and error. I built systems that actually worked with how my brain operates and my real life, instead of what I was told should work. Turns out, most of what I learned in the process is exactly what the women I coach have been missing too.
Then I went and got the education to back up the experience.
I'm a Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, one of the more rigorous credentials in this field, along with my personal training and human movement certifications. What that means for you: I'm not coaching from what worked for me. I'm coaching from what the evidence says works, filtered through eight years of real women's real lives.

I understand strength training, movement mechanics, nutrition strategy, sleep, stress, and habit science.
But what I understand most is this: none of it matters if it doesn't fit your life. Most coaches pick one lane and hand you a plan for it. I do something different.

"Shelly is the trainer of my dreams!"
Shelly is the trainer of my dreams! Workouts are tailored to your needs/goals. Love that she explains the mechanism behind every move we do. Have seen so many improvements in strength, stamina/endurance, and stability. Highly recommend!

"Shelly has opened my eyes to so much"
I started working with Shelly in March 2022. I am a working mom that eats on the run and wanted to lose weight as well as tone up. I lacked so much knowledge in nutrition. After 3 months I am stronger than I have ever been and feel so healthy. I thought I would dread going twice a week 30 mins away to work out with Shelly, but I DON’T. I love doing something for me. Shelly has opened my eyes to so much and I feel so grateful to work with her as my trainer.

"I highly recommend for anyone dealing with joint pain"
I initially started working with Shelly due to a frozen shoulder that was taking too long to heal. I had been doing PT at Jewett twice weekly for over 6 months and felt my progress had plateaued before full range of motion had returned. Shelly was able to get me better range immediately, and full range in just a few months. Even better though, when the other should froze it only took us a couple of months to rehab that one (with only 1 cortizone shot!)! I highly recommend for anyone dealing with joint pain or immobility. I continue to see Shelly weekly. She openly shares her knowledge and makes the workout time fly by.

"Thanks to her accountability and expertise, I felt strong and beautiful"
I had the great pleasure of training with Shelly for a whole year which included the full length of my third pregnancy! Thanks to her accountability and expertise I felt strong and beautiful throughout the whole pregnancy. Shelly also helped me to overcome chronic SI joint pain that I’ve dealt with for years. I had gone to doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors for relief, but the knowledge that Shelly offered me topped them all. She taught me so much about proper form to engage and strengthen the glutes, as well as correcting my tibial rotation. Thrilled to say I continue to be pain free today, and have been able to keep up with all the exercises I learned.

This is the anchor of everything we do. A progressive strength program built around your body, your equipment, your schedule, and how you actually move. I'm a movement specialist, so form and pain-free training aren't afterthoughts. They're the foundation.
No meal plans. Tracking only what and when it makes sense. The focus is on building a practical framework for fueling your training and your life that accounts for your schedule, your preferences, and your history with food. If diet culture has burned you before, this will feel completely different.
These aren't lifestyle extras. Sleep is when your body adapts. Stress is a load you're already carrying. Both are factors that can make or break your progress, so we treat them as just as much a part of your program as exercise and nutrition.
The science on what makes habits stick is clear, and we use it. Small actions that compound, layered in gradually. Celebrating wins and practicing self-compassion on hard days. No big overhauls that collapse the first time something goes wrong.
The all-or-nothing spirals, the perfectionism, the "I already missed Monday so the week is ruined." We rewire those patterns as we go, because they're the reason every previous attempt ended.

Direct messaging access between sessions, weekly check-ins I actually read, and answers when you need them. When your week changes, your plan changes. You're never stuck waiting for your next session to ask a question.

Form video reviews, plain-language breakdowns, and the reasoning behind every recommendation. Why this exercise, this habit, this order. Every week you understand your own body and patterns a little better.

Frameworks for hard weeks, plateaus, and travel. Tools to self-adjust your own training and nutrition. By the end, you're not renting results from a coach. You own a system you know how to run.

Not sure which fits? Apply anyway. The application doesn't commit you to anything, and we'll figure out the right fit together.
Fair question. You've spent money on things that didn't stick before, and it's totally valid to be skeptical.
Here's my honest answer: I can't want your success more than you do, but if you want it and work for it, I have all the tools and strategies to support you.
Coaching goes both ways. Here's my commitment to you: I promise I will:
Believe you and support your decisions
Be honest, kind, present, and patient
Provide you with the tools, strategies and accountability you need to be successful
But hey, if you fully show up for this process and it's not working for you, I want to make it right.
I offer a money-back guarantee for 1:1 coaching clients who:
Complete all scheduled weekly check-ins
Actively communicate with their coach
Implement and record 80% of the agreed-upon strategies and feedback
If after 90 days you’ve met these expectations and still feel like coaching isn’t helping you move forward towards your goals, you’ll get a refund— no hard feelings.

I'm not going to hand you a program and expect you to follow it. The goal of coaching is to help you build self-efficacy, not to test it.
When you work with me, everything that goes into your program is your decision. It's like a promise you make to yourself and my job is to support you while you practice that skill over and over again until you get really good at it.
There's no required minimum fitness level here. All workout programs are personalized and based on your movement assessments. All coaching practices are scalable and designed to meet you where you are, from the beginner-at-everything to the macro-counting D1 athlete.
If you are looking to strength train but you're concerned about joint issues like arthritis, herniated discs, past ACL or meniscus tears, rotator cuff issues, lower back pain, etc, I highly encourage you to work with me in person (Orlando, FL 32806).
I don't want to brag or anything, but I'm highly knowledgeable with regards to biomechanics and passionate (super nerdy) when it comes to prehab/rehab-focused strength training. Please, do not be shy!
Dedicating time toward your health and fitness isn't a net cost, it's an investment. I haven't met anyone who says "I wish I hadn't woken up a little earlier to go to the gym for all those years." We tend to lament time wasted on being unmotivated, tired, and burnt out, not the time spent investing in our health.
You will probably surprise yourself when you realize how much more time you have when you have more energy, plan better, and have clear priorities.
There's no charge, no commitment, no high pressure sales calls or relentless marketing (I can't stand that kind of thing).
I personally read your application and reach out within 48 hours to set up a free conversation about where you are, how I can support you, and whether we're a good fit. If we're not, I'll tell you honestly and point you in a better direction.
